New Creations, a full-service family beauty salon established in 1983, brings to you a dedicated staff of Hair Stylists and Nail Technicians. With their creative talents and expertise, they will provide you the look and feel of well-being that you deserve. Our team enthusiasm makes New Creations the successful salon that it is today.
Meet Our Staff
Wanda Hathaway Wood
Owner/Operator & Nail Technician
Graduate of Charleston Cosmetology Institute, Charleston, South Carolina.
Wanda comes from a long line of family salon proprietors beginning in the 1920's with her grandfather, Walter Cornelius Hathaway and his Friendly Barber Shop. 
Her father, barber Charles Cornelius Hathaway, assumed the business when her grandfather retired, and her mother, hairstylist Wilma Hathaway, opened her own Friendly Beauty Shop in Kinston, North Carolina. Wanda's son and sister, hairstylists Chip Howard and Renee Carney also follow the family tradition.
Wanda's specialty and expertise shines in her acrylic nail extensions. She also loves to do natural nail manicures and silk wraps as well.
Chip Howard
Hair Color Specialist & Classic Cuts Expert
Graduate of Art Beauty School, Charleston, South Carolina and Vidal Sassoon Academy, Santa Monica, California.
Chip was born into a family of hairdressers, including 
his great grandfather Walter Cornelius Hathaway and his grandfather Charles Cornelius Hathaway of Kinston, North Carolina. Chip has a natural talent for cutting hair with precision and patience. His specialty is natural-looking hair color and he's a wonder at creating uniform perm curls.
Deborah Rhinehart
Hairstylist & Nail Technician
Graduate of Charleston Cosmetology, Charleston, South Carolina; interned at London Hair, Charleston, South Carolina.
Deborah loves dressing her clients in the latest hair styles. Her specialty is permanent hair color, highlights, great-looking cuts, and manicures.
Deborah is available Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9am to 4pm; Wednesdays 9am to 7pm.
Renee Carney
Hairstylist
Graduate of Mitchell's Academy, Kinston, North Carolina.
Renee worked in Bethesda, Maryland for many years before coming to the area. Her specialty is hair color and highlights using foils.
Victoria Crozier
Hairstylist
Graduate of Charleston Cosmetology Institute, Charleston, South Carolina.
Victoria has been working in the tricounty area for 17 years. She specializes in razor cuts, corrective color, and customized natural-looking hair coloring. She can teach you how to recreate your salon style at home and help you select the perfect salon styling products for your hair. You'll enjoy the personalized care you receive from Victoria.
Danielle Davis
Hairstylist
Graduate of Charleston Cosmetology Institute, Charleston, South Carolina.
A graduate of Charleston Cosmetology Institute with an overwhelming degree of natural talent, Danelle specializes in hair cuts, perms, body waving and pedicures.
Lynn Roumillat
Receptionist
Lynn's is the friendly voice that greets you when you call the salon. She schedules appointments and welcomes you when you enter the salon.
Lynn was a New Creations customer for almost 20 years before she began working here.
